Air contains water in the form an invisible gas called water vapour. When such air is warm and contains enough water vapour and if it rises due to convection, it expands and cools.Cool air cannot hold as much water vapour as warm air.So some of the water vapour condenses onto tiny pieces of dust called condesation nuclei that are floating in the air.Around each dust particle,a tiny water droplet forms.Millions of such droplets come together to form clouds

Clouds are formed by the water cycle. The sun warms the earth surface and causes water to evaporate from the surface and rise. The water vapor is warm enough to rise b/c warm air rises b/c it is less dense than cooler air. As the vapor rises it cools because it is being stretched and moving away from its heat source. Eventually the air will cool to is dewpoint. Now the air is saturated and the air can condense into tiny particles called condensation nuclei. When enough droplets condense it becomes visible and you have yourself a cloud...

You know the water cycle, don't you? Water evaporates. Water particles float in the air. When water particles come together, it forms clouds. When enough particles come together, they form a droplet, and once it's heavy enough, it falls to earth, and begins the water cycle all over again.
