Who do you think the Whie Sox will get next year.

i think that as a last resort they may get eckstein. i do think that they are going to try to get renteria in the offseason by trading someone like garland, but im sure that detroit will also be in hot persuit of his services.
i could see them getting fukudome, because of the success or iguchi and takatsu. there is also a rumor out there that the sox are going to get iguchi again in the offseason.
hunter will either resign with minesotta, which is very unlikely, or sign some monster deal with the rangers.
Rowand is going to get a huge contract this offeseason, and it will not be from the sox. i would love for him to come back, but the contract that he will recieve, will be much higher than what the sox are willing to pay. he had a great offensive and defensive year.
i see a majority of the sox offesason moves being ones that come via trade.
i would not be suprised to see leinbrick or francisco cordero sign with the sox also.

Rowand is very beloved by the owner - Reinsdorf. The key will be whether they are willing to pay the $$ for him. Having him back in center would be awesome. I felt getting Thome was great, but losing Rowand took away a little of the spark they had from the 2005 series winning team.
Echstein is another one I think they really covet, but again, the $$ will come into play. Other teams will probably pay more and the SOX will probably lose in a bidding war.
Look for Rowand to be a better than 60-40 chance. The others, less than 40-60.

I hear they're really pushing for Rowand, but I never heard of them being associated with those other three.

I really liked Rowand when he was with our team, but I think we should go after Torii Hunter.

Sure - they love Rowand - but they will get Hunter. They don't like how hurt Eckstein gets, and how much he will demand. So, as much as it pisses me off, they will give Uribe one more year.
