Nope. My bosses love me because I never complain and do any shift they ask. The home's owner was in this afternoon as I left. I haven't seen him in months and had a lovely chat with him.

I have never been fired, but I have had to fire people, not pleasant. The worst was an employee who was drunk at work, he was swearing at customers on the phone and he fell off his chair. I had to take him into a room and sack him on the spot, two security guards had to stand outside the door as he was very abusive, he came within millimetres of my face and started to threaten me, security burst in and escorted him off the premises. That was an awful experience, I didn't get paid enough in my old job!!!

In a round about way. After 25 years o f loyal service and hard work The shop steward advised me file a complaint. Then life became hell . It ended up with a sress related heart atack . They never even Came to the hospital. The doctor told me to take early retirement. I feel like a new man. Life is great

No... I should be fired from this one, though. This year I've probably taken about 30 some sick days already... I come in late all the time, and I slack off a lot (like now, I'm on the internet.)

But I get all the stuff done that I am supposed to. So I guess they just see it as my loss and their gain. I get their stuff done, they don't pay me as much as they could, and I am the only one at a loss here.

Yes! I had 2 jobs at the time and Ore Ida fired me for not peeling potatoes fast enough. It was graveyard shift, no great loss.

Hell yeah! I've been fired more than once. When a teenager, working crappy jobs and living at home - I got fired around 3X a year. Who cares if they don't pay enough to eat at Mickey Ds?
As an adult, no. But now I gotta pay my own way...

Nope. I was laid off once, because the company shut down, but I didn't want to work or need the job anyway.

15 years ago, it said that on average you will get fired 3 times. i know it has increased. as you get older, it increases. once you reach 50 you really need to look out.
