I notice all Yankee fans are only commenting that it's only been one game, one game doesn't make a series, blah blah blah. If the Yankees won 12-3 they would be all over the place saying they will win the World Series, nobdy can stop them, etc...A-Rod, Mr Not-October went 0-for the day. I bet that continues tonight. Anybody else find it funny how the bandwagon Yankee fans only cheer when their team wins?

Andrea G. - Actually I'm a White Sox fan first, and a Red Sox fan because they are such rivals of the Yankees. And third, I'm a fan of anybody beating the Yankees.

Eric M - I gave you total props, you present a compelling argument in return.

Hulk Rules - I think it's funny that I reported you for not responding to the question.

All Other Ignorant Yankee Fans - This does make sense. It's a rhetorical question. It's not meant to imply that Yankees fans are quiet in that they aren't saying anything, it's mean to imply that Yankees fans are all bandwagon fans because Yankee fans (with the exception of Eric M) only cheer when their team is winning and don't seem to show a defense of their team when they lose. Figure it out.

Nacnund - You must have forgot what bandwagon means. I am not rooting for the Indians...I am rooting against the Yankees. My team is the White Sox, they always will be, whether they win or lose. I'll defend them to critics, I'll cheer when they win.

Why would Yankee fans cheer when their team loses? Your question is very rhetorical - you wouldn't have anything to say if you lost 12-3, would you? Exactly.

As far as being very quiet, I'm here. I'm typing. Hello! Here's a real Yankee fan, hard to believe, eh? A-Rod went 0-for-2 with 2 walks. That's a .500 OBP.

Yes I will say it again, only one game & it's the truth like it or not & it's far from over. As a Yankee fan, I would not be so bold to predict a win in the World Series after one game. Talk about being a band-wagon fan, how often do you change teams. Will Indian fans be quiet if they lose tonight, of course they will, because, do you know any fans that cheer when their team loses.

who says were saying its one game its 2 games now and 10 min to game 3...I dont talk **** about if the yankees win game 1 nor do i cry when they lose game 1 or 2. Yankees have come back in 5 game series being down 2-0 twice. I have faith in them thats what being a baseball fan is about. You have faith in your team will win and your sad when they dont . A yankees fan is like every other fan. Well at least some are, but you have your disgrunted fans who dont know **** about their team or sport and they just know they were born to hate the yankees or the redsox or the mets blah blah Baseball is a sport not a rivalry but having boston vs redsox rivaliries makes it even better. In conclusion, theres fans who talk **** and fans that dont I dont talk ****.. of course I dont like the red sox and I cheer when they do bad but i respect them their a great team and im a yankee fan admitting red sox dont suck its just that yankees are better most of the time during the reg season and playoffs. All and all Go yankees cause their my team.....

First of all Jeter is Mr. November, because the 2001 world series was played in November because of 9-11, not Mr. October. Mr. October is Reggie Jackson.

Secondly, if you think New Yorkers are quiet about anything than you dint know anything about NY, we are the most intense fans of any city, that's why its so difficult to play in NY and why so many players are great everywhere else but as soon as they play in NY they stink, more so for Yankees than Mets. A Rod is an excellent example, he has choked ever since playing in NY, a few others were Kenny Rogers, Chuck Knaublock, Jason Giambi, and many others.

Thirdly history shows when the Yanks win first game they lose the series

You are beating up Yankees fans based on your presumption of what they would have done if the Yankees had won 12-3.

Try keeping your trash talk to events which have actually transpired.

FACT: In the 12 Division series the Yankees have been in, they have lost the first game 5 times. The Yankees have gone on to win all 5 of those series.

Well aspect of it's considering that the Yankees cost a ludicrous quantity for a price tag that the crowds can by no means promote out. That was once no longer precise of the historical stadium, however considering that the financial system suffered for a whilst crowds quite simply didn't desire to spend a ship load of cash in comparison to what it was once on the historical stadium. Yankees lovers cheer for his or her crew, it is simply no longer as loud considering that the group is cussed approximately what they cost for price tag fees and lovers are not able to deliver them the help that they desire to.

What fan of any team goes braggin about them when they lose? This is a bad question, the Yanks are fine, there fans are loyal. I am a Red Sox fan when they lose, I do not brag, on how well we lost. Leave The Fans alone, let them enjoy the team's wins.

Whos quiet? If you took some time to read some Q&A you would see lots of Yankees fans. Also did you notice that more than half the Yanks went 0 fer the day. Everybody is quick to condemn AROD when it was the whole teams fault.

Um...yea Yankees fans are quiet...what are we supposed to say? It would be the same thing if you guys lost. You wouldn't be on here talking crap like you won the pennant..duh.

And if a Yankees fan, or any teams fan said that crap after winning 1 game then they are retarded. You make no sense bro.

It must be nice to have a back-up team to root for. Talk about bandwagon. You are the very definition.
