Yeah I think we should change the meaning of Republican too... How about gay loving homophobes!

It's funny and true.

Demo-rat? No. That wouldn't be appropriate. Most Democrats are typical Americans, who believe in the fundamental concepts of truth, justice and liberty. While there are some bad apples in the party, that is the case with every political party.

The major difference between the Democrats and the Republicans can be found in analyzing what the parties claim to stand for, and what they actually stand for. In the past year, we've seen Democratic candidates campaigning on health care reform, economic reforms, reducing poverty, improving our schools, and re-establishing America's reputation on the world stage. Republican candidates, on the other hand, have been campaigning on fear: fear of terrorists, fear of gays, fear of universal health converage, and fear of liberalism (though they misconstrue the meaning of liberal in most cases). The difference is that the issues that Democrats are fighting for can be easily identified as policy changes that would be good for our nation as a whole, while Republicans have been advocating policies that would be detrimental to our nation but would help their candidates win office or stay in power by intimidating voters.

Frankly, of the two major political parties, it would be more accurate to describe the Republicans as rats than Democrats.

I think we've had enough demos by the rats in Congress on BOTH sides of the aisle. How about some environmentally friendly "Rat-B-Gone" instead?
