Democrats that I have talked to say that they want to vote for Hillary because it will be like having Bill in the office again. Does anyone else feel this way? My biggest problem concerns her platform. What does she even stand for? She flipflops all over the place, and seems to be promising the same things that Bush did except for government run universal healthcare. She wants to give $5000 to every kid born in America. Talk about bankrupting the country. Won't every person in the world rush to America on their due date in hopes of winning the lottery per se. I really do think that Obama is a better choice, atleast he upholds democratic ideals and he is not so polarizing. Do you think she is going to win the nomination, and if she does, will that ruin the DNC's chances of holding office?

Actually one of my big concerns about Hillary as president is having Bill set in. We already had him for 8 LONG years and that was more than enough. Her ideas are destructive to this country and things like the $5,000 per kid are not liked by a 2 to 1 margin.

However, Obama has a big mouth and continues to say stupid things. It shows how inexperienced he is. How can a candidate, in his right mind, proclaim that he wants to bomb another country? I think he was stupid to talk about not wearing his American flag pin out of protest to the war. Sure it is a small thing but it sends the wrong message.

I think Hillary will get the nomination and will loose to either Rudy or Fred. I am voting for Fred in February.

No, I do not feel that Hillary being in the White House will be just like having Bill there. Because while Hillary is busy there, Bill will be free to travle all over the world getting all kinds of strange.

Yes, Hillary will get the nomination because she has fooled a lot of people.

Yes, Hillary being in office and trying to pass all sorts of country-crippling bills will cause people to realize that we need an opposing Congress to stop her from bringing this country down.

I know Dems who can't stand her.
I know Dems who see what they want to see in her.
I know Dems who just want anyone halfway sane to regain the White House.

I've met her several times; I think she is incredibly plastic and superficial. Far from the Republican fear-myth of "socialist Hil," I think from her record she is too tightly connected with the worst dregs of the corporate world, and would do their bidding, not ours.

It's only rational to want to move beyond the current admin, but Hillary would be barely better than a lateral move across the rock-bottom of the plotiicalcesspool. Let's try to go up; after Bush can it really be so hard? I hope not.

This election is a train wreck in the making, whoever wins will destroy America because the political system has become corrupt with foreign money and special interest groups.

to respond to your question, No. Do you undergo in innovations some years in the past whilst that guy named Dean ran for president. He became the front runner of the Democratic occasion for nearly a 300 and sixty 5 days. He lost the 1st known and all and sundry theory that it became a fluke. Then he lost the 2d and third, etc. The media had him picked via fact the subsequent president via fact of his polls, yet they did no longer pan out in the balloting sales area. the factor is, do no longer concern with regards to the polls from the media, concern with regards to the balloting consequences.

FYI - Giving $5,000 to every newborn would cost $22.5 billion per year. I agree that's pretty steep; however, if you consider that we've spent about $200 billion per year over the last four years on this ridiculous war. If we can afford $200 billion/year to kill little brown people, I think we can afford 1/10th that to send our next generation to college. The Republicans should LOVE this plan. We can give people the option to invest their $5,000 in the stock market. That's an extra $20 billion per year for Wall Street (though personally, I'd favor restricting investment to foreign securities).

Hillary's healthcare proposal isn't "government run". I'm not sure where you are getting your information but it isn't true.
