he hasn't officially popd the question....he tells me quite often, and it's not during "a moment", it's when it's mostly acholol induced....LOL I think true feelings do come out when your drinking, and he's def not a communicator.

Ask him if he meant it when he's sober.

Men don't normally have a habit of throwing around marriage talk for the fun of it.......except sometimes under the influence and when they think it could lead to more at that particular time.

He only means it if he follows through. I had a man tell me that forever. It was to keep me in the clouds so that I woldn't realize what he was doing. Needless to say I am married to someone else now. My aunt used to always tell me love is what love does. She said anyone can say I love you but whether or not they show is a different thing. You have to seriously look at your situation and determine if you think he means business. You can try asking him but chances are he won't tell if if he's not.

Only if he's using it to calm you down during an argument, or to console you when you're frustrated about your relationship. I believe it is genuine when it comes out of the blue. To me...it's more genuine. But, that doesn't mean that he's not sincere if it comes out any other way. Let his actions show you the "true" meanings of his words. Just food for thought.....

Yes, i do agree with you.Complications and its issues re to be drawn first to the line not by lips of smooching kiss and words. Some really do not know the value of marriage and they just utter it like a flash. The most important part on marriage is being together forever irregardless of its turmoils but it is very difficult to have one nowdays.

depends on the situation. and the people involved. i know a guy right now telling this woman the same thing.but everyone that knows him says it's not so.he's just there for an item she has. several people has told her this she doesnt believe us. but hey get real its been six years he still hasnt married her.but still tells he he will. i know another guy got married just to get even with his ex to make her mad.it didnt last six months.so be careful.let action speak not words.

This is a very complicated question. Maybe he meant it at the minute, but life is constantly changing. He could be lying, if that is his nature and he has motivation. I believe that you should trust your intuition, if it feels real, it may be....if you have to ask, you must have some doubts about him.

Sometimes a man will say it in order to get the woman to have sex with him. If you're not having sex with him, you're probably safe to believe him. Next time he tells you that, ask him, "So, where's my diamond ring?" Make him put his money where his mouth is. He'll either put up or shut up.

My husband said he loved me and wanted to marry me... Now we've been married for almost 6 years. You just have to watch out as to why they are saying that... If its to get a little something, then you know he doesn't mean it... If its from his heart, he would stick to what he is saying.

that is kind of a big thing to get wrong. I wouldn't say I wanted to marry you if I was joking unless it was very obvious I was joking. Like you were another guy. Or already married.

He doesn't really want to marry you until he puts a ring on your finger (a ring that he has a way of paying for himself!) and agrees on a wedding date.

Other than that, guys play all kinds of head games.
