RED FLAG, RED FLAG! Cannot think of someone past himself. You might want to put this on the side of "reasons not to marry this one". I'd ask him, do you mean, leave the house as in wait outside, or leave altogether? I have to admit puke really does me in. I have three children, and it never failed that when I'd try to help THEM when they woke up puking, I'd end up puking right along with them and their father had double to clean up, so he decided he'd be the one to take care of it from the get go, and save himself a pile from me. LOL Talk to him. Maybe he was exaggerating. Maybe he's like me and totally CANNOT do the puke thing. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be supportive in every other way. If he means he's gonna split for a few days until you guys weren't puking anymore, I'd put him on my "curb" list.

Well no-one likes vomit. What is interesting here is that he is telling you up front " he has to leave the house to NOT DEAL WITH IT". What else does he not deal with? This seems like a very small and understandable thing on the surface but actually it IS a huge red flag! He is telling you that he will leave rather than deal with something bad ( in this case it is just vomit, but it could be anything) . Im thinking that stupid and selfish is EXACTLY what he is. I think you should dump him.

Darling, he could just suffer from the same problem I have. All it takes for me is hearing someone get sick in another room and I'll be sick right along with them. And I'll be sick until there's nothing left on my stomach, and the only way I can even clean up my own mess is to be sick until it turns into dry heaves. Then I'm dehydrated, and sick myself for days.
Same happens if I walk into a room and smell where someone has been sick. Some people just have really weak stomachs. When I had my baby, I'd get sick changing diapers and people told me that would change, but it never did.

Hmmmm..first time I have ever heard this....Maybe he does have an intense fear of vomit....Heck I don't particularly like looking at vomit....but I don't have an intense fear of it.....I will clean up after my kids or my hubby when they are sick...it is just something you do when you love someone. Guess you better not get serious with this guy....cause when you get sick he is going to run like the wind!

He's talking about a hypothetical future. Tell him that if you ever had a husband that left you to deal with all of the gross stuff in life, He had better not come back into the house. Tell him that you couldn't be married to a man like that --- hypothetically speaking, and see if he starts changing his tune.

If my woman sees a cockroach, she has to leave the house in a wild panic. Some people just have their fears. Maybe you should be more concerned with helping him overcome rather than being mad at him for something he believes he cannot control.

He's a moron..what does he do when he throws up? I can't stand blood, but ya know what? My 6 year old skins his knees ALL of the time and I'm his mother and as parents that's our job, to be there for when our children need them the most.

You present two options in this question you ask: "Is he just trying to annoy me and turn me off or is he really that stupid and selfish?"
1. Wishes to annoy you and turn you off; or
2. Is stupid and selfish.
Of those, which one is acceptable?
Neither is acceptable, of course. Time to stop dating this guy and start looking elsewhere.

Your first question is your answer, he is a MORON. No one enjoys vomit but they don't leave their family in their time of need. Dump this loser...
