In the chapter "King's Cross", what is the ugly creature in the corner?

Chellelee has it backwards: The ugly creature is the portion of **Voldemort** that was in **Harry**.
Since Harry had a portion of Voldemort's soul in him (making him a living Horcrux, like Nagini), when Voldy hit him with the AK spell and Harry didn't fight back, the spell took out the Voldy-soul-fragment instead of killing Harry.
The creature represents what's left of that fragment, and it's what Voldemort is reduced to when he attempts to kill Harry with a second AK spell and it backfires on him because of the Elder Wand.

it's the part of V. that was in Harry. And stop saying Voldy all of you it makes HIm sound like a little innocent boy which right from the start he wasn't. Remember what he did to the other kids in the orphanage?

The book does not explain this creature so i believe it is anyones guess at what it is. Personally i would think it to be related to voldemort

It's the part of Harry that was in Voldemort. When Voldy killed Harry, he actually only killed that part of himself, so then Harry could kill Voldy.
