forget shaving...man up and get some duct tape (but don't forget to bite down on something first or maybe a shot of whiskey).

I never get razor burn from shaving down there. When you are shaving down there, make sure you are using a new or very good razor. That is very key. Less strokes is less irritation, just like shaving your face. Anyway, trim the area as low as you can with scissors, be very careful of course. When you are done trimming, sit on the edge of the tub and run the warm water. Wet your privates thoroughly and get all the hair nice and wet. Take some shave cream and run it under the water a little so its warm and not cold. Rub it on the area till you get a good lather. Its actually a lot easier to shave down there when you have an erection. It makes shaving the shaft easier. When you get to the sides, hold your c*ck to the side and shave there. For your balls, stretch the skin as much as you can and shave there. Its really not hard. I do it all the time and the more you do it, the less irritation. When you are done, make sure you rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat it dry, don't rub it. Try to avoid putting lotion on the area because this clogs pores and you might end up with painful ingrown hairs. If you have to put something on it, try a talc powder or something light. It gets easier the more you do it. Trimming before hand really helps make the shaving part easier. Good luck.

Hey there, I'm a 40 year old male and I just got up the nerve to try this on my birthday back in early July.

At first I tried doing it with scissors, safety razor (for facial hair) and my electric shaver. Those tools produced mixed results, not to mention a few nicks and scrapes.

I then bought some Veet. The label expressly states "not for use on the genitals".

However, it DID produce phenomenal results. My skin on my shaft and scrotum was SOOOOOO smooth and soft. And the slightest breeze through my shorts was wonderful, indeed.

As for the "itching" that I thought I'd experience? None, nada, zip, zilch!!! In fact the hair that has grown back is soft and smooth, as well.

The initial application of Veet DID burn quite a bit, but that was only for a few minutes after showering to rinse it all off after shaving (the "razor" that comes with the product is a simple rubber "bladed" scraper).

Once the initial discomfort of the product is done, you'll love the results.

First don't shave against the hair growth. shave down, then up. Razor burn is most likely going to occur no matter what because it's a sensitive area. After shaving apply vaseline to the area and let it dry.

trim it first.... then use a new razor with shaving cream or gel.. never go against the hair, go with it or you will irritate the hair folicle. Go to the drug store and somewhere by the nair section they have an after shaving cream to put on, it soothes the skin and will prevent razor burn too .. good luck :)

Try using conditioner. Do it in the shower- it helps the skin and hair to be soft and thus easier to shave. Using a newer razor helps- the hair is coarser and harder to cut. Good Luck!

Tips? We'll why not smile at her and say hi.. start with the basics. Don't act like a jerk and be Macho, girls hate that. Just be yourself, If she doesn't like you then move on. Plenty of fish in the sea. Hope this helps, Cheers,

Use lots of soap or gel, make sure your razor is new and sharp....and take your time and BE CAREFUL. In a few times, you'll get the hang of it and it will be faster and easier.
