Foundation is a tricky little thing, because everyones skin reacts differently to different products and need different types of coverage for their skin types. If you have normal to oily skin types you should use a foundation that has a medium coverage as the full coverage can break you out more, for dry skin types it is better to use a full coverage foundation as it holds in the moisture throughout the day. Next is the cream to powder, these offer great coverage if you have normal to oily skin. As for brands, MAC is a great brand and provides wonderful coverage and can be found inside most Dillards, Mary Kay offers lots of shades that are made to blend naturally with your skin and most Mary Kay products are hypoallergenic because of people with sensitive skin and retail around $14.00 for any type of foundation-(**this is who I use), The natural powders are good if you like a very sheer coverage and do not have oily skin (these are only recomended to store for about 3 months before the natural ingrediants/oxidants begin to expire-they don't tell you this at the counter), or for a cheaper walmart brand you can try Lorial...Good luck hope this helps!

Bare Minerals. It's a powder foundation, but it feels so much better on your skin than liquid foundations do. It lasts all day, and it looks really natural, even though it covers so much. It's $25, but it lasts me 3-4 months, so it's well worth the money. You should definately try it!

The Liquid Mineral Powder Foundation from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics is awesome. I used to be a big MAC user but after I found Bee-Luscious I will never go back. Bee-Luscious is the best. Oh the foundation combined with primer lasts all day. Plus it let's my skin really breath.

I had the EXACT SAME problem, mine would fade and splotch as the day went on and I found the BEST stuff!! - it's Loreal True Match Super-blendable foundation. (Buy it at Walmart in a glass bottle. . .it LASTS a l-o-n-g time too!!!) Than I use a cheap ($4.00 or so) pressed powder and dust it over the top of my foundation, it like "sets up" my foundation and holds it the entire day!!!!!!!! (I cannot think of the name of the powder. . .but I think ANY cheap powder would work, the one I use has a navy blue lid and I believe the name starts with a "M" (AGAIN. . .bought it at Walmart) -I'm sorry that I cannot think of the name. :-(
Hopefully this will help you!
Have a wonderful day!

I use the primer and liquid powder mineral foundation from bee-luscious cosmetics. It lasts 15+ hours and i live in the high humidity of the Midwest. Look up Bee-Luscious Cosmetics on google.
