i just started bc the nuvaring and my period lasted 3 days heavy flow and now its down to almost nothing. It started on Monday and the heavy flow ended on Wednesday with barely anything thursday and today, is this normal? I put in the new ring tomorrow. I had protected sex. I was also a little late last month but i got it and it was heavy and lasted about 6 days. Is this change due to the birth control?

its probably just because you have started using something different. i really wouldnt stress out about it. if the next time you get your period it is the same way, then ask your doctor if it will always be that way. also, read up on the nuvaring on the internet and see if that offers you any info. :) have a great day!

It's probably because of the new birth control. But remember a period lasts from 3-10 days, so 3 is normal.

i think its because of the birth control. try what works best for your body though if that worries you then i suggest yopu go to the dr.
