LG and Samsung are the #1 and #2 monitor manufacturers. (which is which varies)
They manufacture their own panels and are generally leading technology.
As for Sony, they used to be good with the Trinitron CRTs, but they have not made any of those for years. I see no reason to pick their LCDs. It looks like they are trying to make a name for themselves on OLEDs, but we will have to wait and see.

ok in display wise i would always vote for sony , they would beat any company in display any day...
but then comes the cost fact and sony is one of the costliest so what i would recommend to u is to go for view sonic as ur second option as view sonic is a company which earlier used to make monitors for samsung and sony.
the products are of excellent quality and its very much affordable at economy prices.

Go by the contrast ratio and factory warranty. Most of these company's use the EXACT same LCD panel manufacturers.
