no you shouldn't blame any one. i know your upset. i know if that happen to me my fiance will be upset too. but you should blame the company you got it from because the diamond shouldn't be falling out like dat unless your paying for the diamond to be put bk on and in that case they just want ur $$$, i got engaged last christmas @ 12 midnite and one time i i thought the diamond had fell out but it didn't. but i would be upset @ the company for not tighting the diamond right. what you should do is take it back to the company you got it from and see if they can replace it . do you have insurance on the ring? well it depends how much the ring is. but i know that when something happens to the ring you can bring the ring bk and the will do something about it so you wouldn't lose any $$$ out of it. i know it will be a bit embarassing but try it. thats why i never take my ring off to let some 1 look @ it if they want to c it c it on my finger lol

You absolutely need to take it back!! It doesn't matter if she threw it against a wall all day, you pay good money for engagement rings, and they are supposed to withstand the little bit your fiancee has done to it... think about it, how many times a day do you wack your hand accidentally on your desk or a door, imagine having a big diamond on your hand. Trust me, I am smacking mine every few minutes, it just happens. Jewelers know this, and the quality needs to definitely be better then what you have, Bring it back, have him re-set it or exchange it.

I think it a little of both. The place where you got it from shouldd have designed it a little bit better and they shoul able able to do something to stop the diamond from coming loose. On the other hand your fiance shouldn't be letting anyone else try on her ring. Its fine to show it off but the ring is for her not for her friend.

Take it to a jeweler and have it repaired. It isn't something to be played with. Also, when taking the ring off and on...don't handle it by the stone, handle it by the band. I don't know if I would blame her, it could have been the jewelers fault when you had it adjusted, but if you think she's mishandling it, maybe she is. If they dropped it on concrete, you may want to have the stone checked for chipping. If it's chipped it would decrease the carat weight and value of the stone.

A ring should be able to withstand far more than a single drop and touching. The problem is with the craftmanship. Take it back to the jeweler and see what they can do, you may have a warranty.
I would suggest she not wear it until it is fixes. Nothing worse than losing a diamond.

Don't blame your Fiancee, silly! I have worn mine daily for 20 years-gardening,whatever! I get it checked every 6 months and it is fine! Take it right back to the store-you did NOT get good craftsmanship.

Blaming her would be not only mean spirited and crush her feelings... but I don't think it's even her fault. Stuff gets dropped. Stuff get pawed over when new. I'd contact the place u bought it from, tell them the rock keeps coming out and ask them to fix it. If they are hesitant threaten better business bearue etc etc.. it's their responsibility to fix it properly. Good luck.
