It is a soap for every BODY! Back in the day when I was in nurses' training they used dove soap on the newborns. Sooo, it must be good stuff.

Who told you that Dove soap is exclusive for women's use only? Everyone could use Dove products, if you're satisfied to Dove's effect on your skin then go on. There is nothing wrong in being vain in the first place.

Well if you love a guy's skin to feel like sandpaper with steel wool then I'd say yes.

What's the point of showering with perfume laden soaps which leave your skin dry, or with a rash, when a good quality soap leaves your skin with it's own natural moisture intact?

I like men with nice skin, part of that includes taking care of it. Men don't which is why many of them age rather poorly. A little moisturizer and sun screen could keep them looking younger for decades longer and I only buy good quality soaps (and there are many, Dove was one of the first) for my family because I care about their skin. Hubby gets rashes from the chemicals on his clothes from work and the environment he works in so he needs a good quality gentle and non-irritating soap and I prefer olive oil soap when I can find it! ♥

I don't think of the basic white Dove bar soap to be a woman's soap, but everything else is. Everything else is too feminine for my tastes, because they all have some sort of fruity fragrance.

Well, Dove is targeted to women but by no means is it a "woman's" soap. It's just soap.

No, I do not think that is "a woman's soap" in that men should not use it.

But if you mean are most buyers and users of Dove women, I would say yes.

Actually, I think of it as a soap for CHILDREN. You know, delicate little infants whose parents are deathly afraid of using anything harsh on the little angel's skin.

Though I hear that a lot of people with sensitive skin, people of both genders, use it. I have Teflon skin so I've never needed to use a gentle soap myself.

Nope, it's for anyone with sensitive skin. I buy it for my husband sometimes when he gets hives or somthing. Get the unscentded kind - no problem - soap is soap!

yes it is.

Oh, and it's not really a "soap" (read the ingredients). It's more of a chemical block of fragrance.
