I have never seen anything like it before. The american people are going along with this fools game. Think about the benefits they get. 1 term = retirement, free health care =walter reed hospital, and voting on wage increases for themselves.
Now who are the fools here? Just my thoughts

It finally occured to me after finally hearing a Conservative explain his viewpoints in a rational non-emotional way, that actually some of what he said made sense and I am more of a moderate liberal than I thought I was. As soon as someone starts an argument with "Loony Liberal" or tells me that I "hate America" and that I'm a "communist" who falls for the "Liberal lies" then I automatically tune out whatever the person has to say. If we could all discuss politics rationally without all of the ugliness and name calling we'd probably realize that we agree on more issues than we thought we did. All the name calling and mud flinging does is polarize people and makes every issue black or white. There are definitely a lot of gray areas where we could meet halfway if we weren't all so emotional about politics. Everyone loses in this situation.

The hate thing seems to have started or resumed after Reagen was in Office, things seemed better then than now. The name calling is making me ill.

No one benifits from that. The inability of our politicians to reach any kind of compromise will eventually bring us to a stand still.

i see the hate from the democrats. they have used all their time to attack our president and our troops and our private citizens, taking time in congress to lie on rush limbaugh.
they are disgusting.
i do not see republicans lying on them, in fact they dont fight back enough.
