@ncy: i guess it needs just one hour and it was cheaper than flying to orlando

Cab $150 to $200 depending on where in Orlando.
GreyHound is $23 but you have to catch it in downtown Tampa a $15 cab and then from the Orlando Bus Station to where ever.
Yes many times the car rental rout is what most do except those 24 and younger. If this age range of 18 to 24 is you, you might look into a uhaul truck, rider truck, ect.... they allow this age range to rent, altho its not the most stylish ride, many people do this. The closest Uhaul to Tampa International is on Hillsborough AVE and is about a $10 cab ride.

You can rent a car one way at Tampa and drop off in Orlando without and extra fee with most rental companies. I did the reverse once when my plane couldn't get to Tampa due to lightning so I took a plane to Orlando, rented a car and drove to Tampa airport.

$150 is just the standard fare with a cab. But- there is a bright side to all this :) Greyhound provides service to and from Tampa Airport for as low as $23.00!!! How's that for savings? Yes, it will take awhile (approximately 3hrs 30mins) to reach your destination, but relax and enjoy the ride! why fly to tampa to get to orlando? it takes around 2 hours to drive to orlando from tampa
