Having it complete for the first time. My husband is deployed and I gave birth to our daughter since he has been gone. I cant wait til the day when he is back home with me and our 2 kids. I want my family to be together again, something is missing from it.....my husband.

First thing that came to mind was last night. I was cooking chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes in the kitchen while my wife was playing with our 18 month old twin baby girls in the living room. It's finally starting to cool off here in Southern CA, and it was actually a chilly 58 degrees last night. We were talking about how we're going to get all of our halloween stuff out this weekend, and I remember thinking that tonight was one of the best nights I've had in a long long time. Fewer things (that don't involve sex) make me happier than cooking for my girls while they play and giggle in the living room under mommy's watchful eye!

Since I just spent the week visiting out of town my 3 sisters, I realize how much I miss them all including 3 brothers that live out of state and those who have passed away. All in all, for such a huge family, we get along great when we can get together! God Bless them all!

I love them all very much, and love visiting with them ONCE A YEAR or so. Three days is usually my limit. I "signed up" to spend 6 days back home for the first time in 10 years for Christmas this year. My ticket is purchased. OMG, WHAT HAVE I DONE! >:O

My Mom's brain is fried...(not from drugs! but from having 3 kids who ran her around for years)
My dad is out of his mind, oblivious to everything, still funny though.
My sister is turning into my mom slowly but surely,
My brother never talks to anyone.
My daughter is peach
My wife is sexy, lovely, funny, out of her mind...
But I love them all anyway becasue they are the way they are.

My Mom is one of my best friends.
My father is........................not.
There's dysfunction in my family, as there is in most, but by and large they are good, decent, loving people (siblings, cousins, etc).
And I have non-blood family (dear friends) who help keep me sane and pointed in the right direction...and I hope I help do that for them too. âº
