Now, if a story has something to do with Maddy and helping to find her, than im all for it being front page news. BUT over the past month Kate and Gerry have been front page, for example front page of the Mirror today was about each day being a like a week for them, articles like this contribute nothing to finding Maddy and while i understand and emphasis with them, i feel constant reminders of their grief helps no one, and if anything may start making people resent them. SO ONCE AGAIN I AM FOR ANY THING TO DO WITH MADDY AND FINDING HER BEING FRONT PAGE NEWS. BUT NOW IM FED UP WITH SEEING ARTICLES WHICH DONT CONTRIBUTE TO FINDING HER, ABOUT HER PARENTS MAKING THE FRONT PAGES

Yes, but at the end of the day i dont buy a newspapaer everyday to read about Kate and Gerry every day. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER PARENTS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR CHILDREN?
KEEP MADDY IN THE NEWS THROUGH REPORTS AND ARTICLES WHICH ARE RELAVANT TO HER, EG ARTICLES OF OTHER SIMILAR STORIES. I REALLY DONT CARE WHETHER KATE HAS A MOLE ON HER TOE, OR IF GERRY SHAVES HIS CHEST.

Trev B, i dont have a predefined opinion of the truth, i dont find any of the possible scenarios abusrd, eg all the possiblilities mentioned have happened before and are within the realities of this world. But at this moment everything and anything regarding what happened to Maddy is a matter of opinion not fact.

Rose 1, i noticed that aswell, in recent pics Kate been looking slightly worst for wear, a stark contrast to the pictures of her over the past 5 months.

I don't buy any newspapers. I read them though as they are supplied for us in the canteen at work.
I for one (and amongst many I suspect) am thoroughly sick of seeing the McCanns faces pleading innocence and concern for their missing lovely daughter. I only wish it were a picture of Maddie found safe and sound.
The McCanns have the press eating out of their hand and they have the help of their PR man Mitchell who knows alot of influential people apparently.
It's time to concentrate on news that is new and not this old stuff being dragged around every day. Maybe Kate is looking so bad lately because holding up a facade is really hard I guess.

I guess the press believe that Kate McCann's face on the front page sells newspapers. Although the stories take a 'sympathetic' stance, the idea is still 'are we looking at the face of a murderer?' Because the plight of Madeleine is such an emotional issue, people will still want to read about it.

and the telly and the computer news. But its a small price to pay to keep it in the front of everyones mind. But wasnt there another child go missing about the same time? i havent heard any more about that.
i would rather be fed up with seeing them in the papers than in their place, they will have no rest till Maddie is found.

That is mainly down to the police investigation I dont think for a second that Kate & Jerry wanted this kind of publicity they just wanted to get Maddies pic out to as many countrys as poss......
Yes they maid a mistake leaving the kids alone but I bet they are punishing themselfs enough without the rest of the country giving them a hard time...
If you had to have your kids by IVF you would know how cherished they are...

not me and the problem with journalism these day is that it is lazy , lazy journalisim , you watch the news and it seeem sto be a hourlong advertisment for tesco sainsburies asda and morrison or halifax morgages,
in my humble opinion , i believe that every single child kidnapped mudered or killed should be on the frount pages, , there is so much going on out there that these media companies don't investigate , when i was a kid i watch ed all of these kids programmes about mine -journos investigating crimes and then i grew up , and realise that if it dosn't make money for the advertisers the media companies don;t care !

I couldn't agree more. This constant need to be in the limelight is sickening. They are as guilty as hell and think that pictures showing how much weight Kate has lost will make people think that they are innocent. I am sick of hearing how they are "coping" and how "ludicrous" the allegations against them are. Even the British police experts think they did it. They are a pair of lying, cold,calculating moneygrabbing fraudsters who have never let anyone or anything stand in the way of their ambition or of their "fun". Not even their beautiful, innocent daughter Madeleine. The whole world has cried for Madeleine, neither of her parents have shed a tear.

Well if Kate or Gerry's picture is on the front page, don't buy the newspaper, if it bothers you that much.
I am sorry but I fail to see how it is their fault if the paper prints their pictures on the front page.
This story is still news to them, so of course they are going to milk it. Why not write to the paper and complain !!

P.S. There is no need to shout at us. it isn't our fault that you are fed up either.
