No they dont get are jokes at all and silly little things like you user name i find funny wellie boots(are you Welsh) that to one side its a good user name.
But the yanks have a bland humour, they still think Monty Python is funny

Is just a matter of cultural differences. Somethings are funny the world over and somethings are just specific to certain areas. I enjoy quite a bit of British humour, maybe more than most since my family in English. If Little Britain didn't exist I'd be less of a a person than I am now. But not everything strikes me funny. Just like I'm sure not everything America produces tickles the Brits.
A good example of this is me and my South African friend. Sometimes I will make a great joke and she will just stare at me. Sometimes she will translate an Afrikaans joke that's supposed to be great and I won't get it at all.

Yes Americans do not get a lot of our humour but it works the same way.
I was round a friends house the other day and he comes fom LA.
We was watching a film called Baseketball from the same guys that did South Park and he was howling with laughter. Very funny film but I was not finding it half as funny as he was.
Like I say it does work both ways and I can understand your point about talking to them and they not getting some of our jokes.

I think alot of British humor is hilarious... but then there are some cultural things that won't translate, can't blame us for that.

they dont get it most of the time. especially on this when someones joking and they take total offence. not all of them but most of them are like that.
