I got my belly done about 2 days ago. Its perfectly clean. There is no pus, no redness its brilliant. But i just sterilized it then and now it is itchy. Not extremley but just itchy. What does this mean and how could I fix it. Also the Bar when i sit up the top comes further out of the belly button. It dosnt really bother me but it can get iritating especially when its a new piercing and its still healing so its sore.

Thanx

Itching means its healing. There are several different things you can put on it for a "cooling" effect. I've used emu oil, simple care spray, and regular sea salt soaks. www.desertpalmsemu.com

Instructions for a sea salt soak can probably be found on just about anyone's piercing site.
All three of these are safe, gentle additions to regular cleaning.
Usually, as long as the piercing is going well, you can get the bar changed in 3 weeks. Until then, try limiting your movement as much as possible, which I understand can be near impossible with a navel piercing. If you move, it moves. The products listed above can help a lot to relieve the tension from such irriation.

It means that you should not have pierced it in the first place, take the damn thing off and let it heal close, What are you going to pierce next? But to answer your question anyway, its healing, when a raw wound gets exposed to air the oxygen in the air combines with the blood to clot, that clotting process can cause it to itch cause it contracts the skin a little when doing so. the more sensitive the area the more it will itch/scratch. dont do anything, just apply come vaseline to keep the moisture out.

itching's fine - things itch when they heal, so don't worry about that

re the bar - generally you're given a longer bar for healing (if it swells, the bar is still clear of the hole), if it bothers you go back to the piercer and talk to them about changing it for a smaller bar
