"The Cubs can't come back. They're done."

I think he's right, and I'm hoping for a sweep.

Your thoughts and opinions?

No need to put the broom back in the closet my friend. This series is going to be a sweep. Other than Carlos Zambrano the Cubs do not have a good pitching staff. I am also a little concerned about Lou's stress level; he needs a vacation.

It would be very difficult for the Cubs to win three in a row, but to say they are done might be a stretch.

I think it's pretty safe to say they're done. I have a feeling it's going to be a sweep. I fully expected them to play like a team undeserving of a playoff spot once they got there and that's exactly what they're doing.

Cubs are toast. They don't have what it takes to get there.Sorry Chi-town! Back to the drawing board.Maybe A-Rod comes to the windy city to take you there. And how about Johan Santana also!

History tells us the odds are not good but it happens frequently. More frequently than you might expect.

The Cubs are NOT dead.. they are on life support but there not dead yet.

The only question remaining is who the fans and organization will blame. Time is running out, they better get their excuses ready.
