As my 3rd receiver, I'm pondering whether I should sit jennings and give Andre Davis the starting on week 5.

I know Favre has been throwing a lot, but jennings hamstring concerns me. On the other hand Davis is pretty all Schaub has to throw to, the Texans have no running game, and they're going vs Miami.

Thoughts?

I don't think you can go wrong either way. Sure at the end of the day you might end up wishing you had gone with the other player, but there is reason to have hope or doubts for either player.

I don't expect Jennings hamstring to be an issue, but he is one of many targets in Green Bay. I expect him to have 5-7 catches, but the question mark on him will be YAC. He's a guy that can make someone miss and run for a long time, which means lots of yards. He is also a redzone target. I'm thinking he'll get somewhere around 100 yds and 1 TD, this weekend.

Davis on the other hand will be the primary target, but Miami knows that so they will most likely double team him. I expect him to have more catches than Jennings, but the double team may limit the yards he'll get. Again, I expect 10 catches, 100 yards, 1 TD.

I think you're absolutely right. A hamstring injury for a wide receiver is pretty serious as they can't run crisp routes or accelerate as usual. I would choose Andre Davis as Schaub has looked great all season and Andre looked great last week.

Go with Jennings. He had a sore hammy last week too & still managed to snag a TD. Chicago's defense also is banged up. And since the Packers have no running game, Jennings is going to get a lot of opportunities.
