"Now, where did that $100 million come from, I ask? UU taxdollars?" That's a great question. I think the answer is in the article you cited, "And the Government Accountability Office said earlier this year that the Pentagon cannot fully account for $19.2 billion worth of equipment provided to Iraqi security forces." That's A LOT of money to be missing.

No, it is not reason to leave.

The article stated:

"He noted that the United States has already delivered about $600 million worth of equipment to the Iraqis, and has another $2 billion to $3 billion on order."

Why cry over $100 million going elsewhere when our factories are backed up and can't deliver as quickly as necessary?

Also, no where does the article state that the $100 million is to come from US tax dollars. Nor, do I see where such a thing could even be inferred.

Don't you remember how much oil is produced in Iraq. They generate a lot of money there.

War is all about making money. You don't think our government would be so quick to start one if that wasn't the case, do you?
