Chaos would surely reign. We are more than the sum of our parts.

Each state does have its own government. The problem has come since the FDR era when federal power was expanded, directly contrary to the Constitution. However, the trouble truly began when the southern states tried to secede in the 1860s, which they had the constitutional right to do. The federal government went to war to stop them.

There are problems with the Federal government. This fact cannot be denied. It has become unresponsive to the will of the people in many ways. We should change this. We have the power, but we refuse to exercise it. Most of us do not vote for the best candidate, but rather continue to accept the lesser of 2 evils strategy fostered on us by the control enjoyed by the two major parties in this country. Stop voting for parties and start voting for candidates.
Your idea will not work. What it do would be to create anarchy and regional conflict on a scale which would dwarf the problems in Africa and the Middle East. Additionally, many of the states lack the ability to stand on their own both economically and militarily. In short destroying the union is not the answer. "United We Stand, Divided We Fall".

The states are even worse. Anarchy is the only form of government that works.

Corrupt? I think you had better start looking into the dirty dealings of Hillary. Don't forget White Water and the fact she stole $28,000 in furniture from the White House then there's the racist Obama. He's a known racist and he even ran a racist web page.
Before you go judging others, look in your own back yard.

your right, but that is what America has become today. We let it get like that...... When voting time comes around, people often want to vote democrat because that is the "right" thing to do, but I vote Republican, simply because they keep the industry that I am in "Missile Defense, Aerospace Engineering" at the top of its game. If it was up to the democrats they would spend all the money on programs to help the homeless which more than half of them are drug addicts anyways, call me heartless or whatever but none of us got to where we are without a little bit of sacrifice.

That would be fine with me but the fed under Lincoln showed that the states have few rights and are not allowed to leave if they disagree with the fed.
Please note though that you have to be a millionaire to be a state Governor as well.

That’s not the fix.
Voting for a president who has no ties to big business (on the Right (Big Oil, Halliburton etc.) or the Left (Halliburton, Planned Parenthood) is the solution. The same goes for congress. We need to toss MANY of them out on their cans.

I pray often for Texas to leave the Union, we dont need a federal government, lead by demons, who will not be happy, until America is a smoldering pile of ruins.
