It used to be ok, but then we got a virus. After having everything fixed and updated everything looks horrible. How can I adjust the images so that they arent stretched from side to side and so they show up as they should be?

Right click the desktop, left click properties. Go to the "Settings" tab and you should now see what appears to be a numbered box. This represents your monitor. You need to choose a Screen Resolution by sliding the dial that fits your Widescreen monitor. Click apply and you will be given a countdown to accept the changes. You can decline and go back to the slider if you dont get it right the first time. After you have it set, just accept andd close the Display Properties window.
Good Luck!

Right-click on the image
cl Format picture or object
there are tabs to resize, set the wrap, etc

be sure to "maintain ratio" if you don't want the picture distorted. This way, when you set the width, for example, then click in height, it will automatically change. If you have a specific size in mind, unclick "maintain ratio" and set width and height to your wishes.
