like I said it's a whole new game in the playoffs, but there is 2 more wins are needed, so we will have to keep rooting on the Indians, because it will be a tough road.

The first time the Yankees faced the Indians was in April when a lot of the contributing members that are on the roster now weren't on it then.
The second time was in August where the Indians were in a terrible offensive slump: Sabathia had a 4-3 record while giving up 2 runs or less per game for that stretch.
No matter who wins the series, it's not going to be a blowout.

Because the post season is a whole new season, it's a clean slate. I don't know why people pay so much attention to the fact that the Yankees went 6-0 against Cleveland in the regular season. Does that mean the Yankees should automatically be given the series victory based on regular season record? That's why we play the games.

The postseason is a whole new story. That's where one really acquires a name such as "The Big Hurt", "Big Papi", etc. Having an awesome regular season is nice, but if you can't step up and be the very best for yourself your team, get the heck out of your uniform and head home.
Don't stereotype me as a Yankee fan who will pack it up if my team goes down. I'm a devoted baseball fan just as much as I am a Yankee fan, and I don't really care if it was the Mets and Red Sox in the World Series, I would watch every minute of every play because that's who I am.

They didn't give the Tigers a chance last year. The playoffs and momentum(hunger) win games. The media LOVE the Yankees!-good stories to tell. They will NEVER give a qualified team a fair shake.Let the Indians pitching and bats do the talking(like my Tigers did last year).

The media will always kiss up to the Yankees because they are a bigger market. Its a different season once you get into the post season, now all the Indians have to do is keep it up!!!

Our pitcher can't pitch on the road. I am normally a supporter of Joe Torre but the decision to throw Wang in game one is really questionable. His home era is 2.75 and his away era is 4.91. This was really a no brainer and Joe Torre blew it.
