Normal is the easiest mode. But I'll give you a good link to a video walkthrough in case you get stuck, it helped me a lot in this game.

Hi. There is no easy mode for Resident Evil 4, just the Regular mode and Professional mode. It's not a silly question at all, by the way.

There are Easy and Amatuer difficulties in the PAL and JP versions, but no NA.

there is no easy mode
there is only normal and professional
besides if you need to play on easy then you have no skill as a gamer. try it on professional it really gets fun after that.
