If it's in the U.S., then it's only borderline legal (will depend on your state). If you are an hourly employee, then they will probably have to pay you overtime. Again, this depedns on the state. In California, they would have to pay you 1.5 x your hourly salary forhours 8-12, and double time for hours 12-15. Whether or not you are hourly our salary, you must receive a total of either 3 or 4 15 minute paid breaks. You must also receive to unpaid 30 minute "lunch" breaks.
