... yet another reason why neither side should accuse the other of restricting freedom of speech. Can we bring this to a close now???

Ok, so I must be the only one who pays attention to the news. The person he attacked that I am referring to is the one who Rush compared to a suicide bomber that was being used by the 'liberal media'. Think before you jump to Rush's defense like a bunch of mindless cronies.

smellyfoot... despite the fact that you argue like a child and have yet to actually answer my question (which, by the way, was not an attack on you, rather it is a statement on how both sides need to simmer down on the free speech talk so i don't know why you are getting so defensive, unless you have a thing for Rush) i will answer your edit. The man did the ad by his own free will. He made the decision himself. The media did not 'throw him out there'. Rush's allegation is doubly stupid as this man was a victim of a suicide attack. So, at this point you can continue to avoid the topic or you can answer the question, it doesn't really matter to me. You have proven yourself to be absolutely ignorant so, unless you come out with something earth shatteringly brilliant, I'm pretty much not going to pay attention to you.

Sorry but this in no soldier or veteran.

I hope the prision population he is put in with knows who he is. They have special treatment for people like this.

It's one thing to fake being a soldier and fake being a combat vet. Everyone can dream but to do it to falsley accuse those who had the balls to actually be a soldier and combat vet is unforgivable.

ADDITION: Link before you get upset people dont know which incident you are talking about. Beleive it or not more than one thing happened in the news in the last few months. An easy remedy for making sure people are talking about the same thing as you is to post a link.

Why do you even care what Rush has to say a bout anything? He is noting but an entertainer any way. The communications company that he works for is a private business and they have every right to refuse air time to anyone. The first amendment has nothing to do with it, the firs amendment only says that the Federal Government can't make laws that infringe on our freedom of speech.

What soldier did he attack? The guy he referred to washed out of the military, he was never a soldier.

Someone forgot to insert their brain this morning. Jesse MacBeth is NOT a soldier, and has never been a soldier. He is a boot camp flunky and criminal and is looking at jail time.
Strange the type of people some choose to be their hero.

EDIT: Then why post crap without a link?

EDIT: It was the same guy...sounds like someone doesn't pay enough attention to what is really happening around them. Huh

Are you serious? The "soldier" he attacked was not a soldier at all - he is a criminal that faces time in jail for lying about being a soldier. Please go grow a brain.

EDIT - If you actually listen to what he said about the "suicide bomber" it's makes alot of sense. It was an attack on the exploitative media, not on the soldier himself. So after you grow your brain, learn to use it too.
