Specifically looking for the price of a brand new Carlton 1260 Wood Chipper.

All I can suggest is not to buy one that is too small for what you are using it for. Make sure the blades are easily changed or sharpened. For most people, they are only going to use one for a certain job. If this is the case, rent one. Low cost and you do not have to store or do maintenance.

I really don't know the prices of these things, but do know they are high priced, you could get a quote from home depot or lowes, as maybe they may have a clearance sale about now, or possibly try in the papers, listed in the used items.
