I would suggest belonging to an auto club then, for your own safety and convenience.
Other than that, call a towing company.
***BTW, we own a auto repair shop/used car dealership. We have AAA. Friends and family in the area or not, it's always better to have trained professionals to deal with. Getting your car jump-started by a stranger (or having a stranger help you for anything) could be setting yourself up for danger (I'm not being paranoid).
Think of it this way - if you had a child, would you want them to belong to an auto club, even if you lived near by? Wouldn't you feel better knowing a reputable agency would be looking out for their well-being if you weren't around to assist them? And honestly, can you tow a car, personally, for them? The answer is no. And a place like AAA costs just as much, if not less than one tow does.
Think about protecting yourself the way you would protect a child of yours.

You could check with your insurance company because some of them do have a AAA like set-up.
You could join AAA. You could call 411 and ask for a towing company in the area.
Since you don't have any relatives or friends in the area you might want to join AAA. I was in a similar situation when I lived in Charlotte, NC. I left my lights on when I was at work and when I got my car, the battery was dead. I was so lucky to have received help from a very kind and generous stranger but the next day I signed up for AAA. It worked out well because I had to call them twice in that year, once for when my alternator went, and another when one of my tires was too low. I was at an airport parking lot, just having gotten back from a trip. I upgraded the membership for more miles and it saved me money.
I don't have AAA now because I have both family and friends in the area.

As we are all compelled to buy/carry auto insurance, check with your company about coverage for towing...or, check the rates with a company like AAA. . . All police have contacts with tow services - if you need hiway help - they will call someone for you.

Call a wrecker. But I agree with the others and would definitely call Ghostbusters first.

Look on the back of your drivers license. Most states have a road side assistants phone number on the back.

Call the police. They'll get a tow truck there for you. Ofcourse, it'll be at your expense, but you will get your car/truck towed fast.
