Why is it that Slavic countries are allways behind people trafficing and prostitution??

Why is it that countries like : Russia, Romania,Ukraine,Poland. Are allways linked with sex slavery and people trafficing in Western european nations aswell as Thailand?
why do their countries turn a blind eye to the huge mafias there? and why do our Western nations not crack down on these mafia coming in?

first, romania is not slavic - even tho it is drowned into a slavic ocean.
second - poverty.
third - poverty and stupidity
fourth - poverty, stupidity and fear.

not to mention mafia rules, so things are kinda going right - from the mafiosi point of view.

One reason is due to communism that was imposed upon the Slavic nations. But this is in recent times.
Historically, some of the Slavic nations were one of the most powerful countries in Europe.

Gotta know your history. Cause they weren't "always behind" as previously ignorantly and blindly stated in thou question.

Poverty is one reason,the girls are very good looking in those countries and they know that they must,"cash" it in before nobody want it.
I live in Hungary and between the small towns on certain roads there are several girls out near the corn fields waiting for drive by customers.It is sad to see and upseting.
the wages are so low over here that many feel forced to make quick money. Many send some of it home to family or have a boyfriend back home in another country who they send money to.
