Sid B's told you how to reset your machine to it's original condition. If you wanted to restore to some previous point without resetting the whole issue, go to Start - Help & Support, then you should find "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore ". With that, you can select a previously saved restore point (perhaps you've done something and wish you hadn't) and the system can be put back to that point.

turn on computer....... a blue bar with www.dell.com appears at top of screen.......immediately press control and f11. on the screen that appears click restore,
this will wipe everything off and restore to original factory settings,so anything you have put on since then will have to be put back on. hope this help
if you do not press control and f11 in time let computer finish starting and then restart
