Lets just say YES, Short question short answer!







If thats the answer you want fine but MAME would only see an increase in processing very little if any is noticeable. I think your question may be that you are looking to play a newer game that is not fully playable due to processor speeds of the CPU and Video. If the game requires a CHD file it is most likely a resource hog. The fastest version of MAME is dos based and rember not all games are 100% emulated.

Generally, better graphics n Ram makes all games run better, so i think yes.
