The number one concern of the american government is the economy. People, even children, are a distant 3rd, at most, to national security. Wise up america.

Once again, It's time for for everyone to get off the "Hate Bush" bandwagon. If you want to talk about the facts get all of them first! You'll never hear of all the good things that are happening in Iraq, i.e. people getting their first taste of freedom, end of tyranny, ability of citizens to decide their own destiny, etc. Nope, not in the democratic controlled media, not in a million years! They actually slipped the other nite and accidentally reported the crime and attacks in Iraq were starting to go down....Hmmm. Also, us rednecks seem to always see BOTH sides to the issue and have the BRAINS to decipher whats going on and can tell the difference! But I guess that the "Holocaust" that you see there now is the bad kind, compared to the "Legal" one that Saddam carried out against his own people. How about the "Holocaust" that terrorists are waging every day against Israelis, etc. Besides, wasn't it democrats that also approved of our little "redneck" excursion into Iraq?? Hmmm Didn't they have access to the same intel that the "Idiot" bush had? Hmmm

He vetoed a bill that was providing health care to 25 YEAR OLDS and to kids who come from families earning as much as $80,000 a year. Those are NOT poor children. Coverage of those people is what would have taken money away from the truly poor children of America. Remember the original bill that Bush DID want was an expansion of already existing coverage for children and would have covered those truly in need.

Wake up! This was just a thinly disguised attempt to incrementally bring about universal health care.

Well now, I cannot stand the guy, but "Genocide"?? Let's stop acting like a Hannity/limbaugh robot and get real. What Bush did is typically unspeakable. Why are we even surprised. Not a day goes by that I haven't said "Unbelievable" when hearing something those idiots try to pull. Maybe the bill asked for a little too much money..however, I would much rather go too high on this issue than not enough. When 40 cents of every tax dollar in Iraq goes to private war profiteers, George has no business being righteous about child care. In defense of W, he has never and I mean never had an original thought in his life. He is a "C student" and surrounds himself with brilliant PhDs to "advise" him, but he is the "decider". Puhleeze George!! Is it nov 2008 yet?

i think of this is a decrease an dry attitude to the subject remember; in spite of the undeniable fact that, existence is greater complicated than a text fabric e book answer. there are a number of dwelling in poverty, and doubtless maximum are minorities; yet, having been certainly one of those few whites who've lived in poverty, i will inform you that there is a manner out, and you do no longer unavoidably would desire to have college papers to do it. Being knowledgeable is greater effective than a scrap of paper, it is truthfully intelligence. And herin lies the tie-in. smart people who care to have studied the area common as Mesopotamia will understand that "Bush's conflict" isn't reasons why harmless all of us is loss of existence. it is because of fact of ethnic hatreds that predate the Roman Empire. Bush's occupation replaced into an excuse, no longer a symptom.

Iraq is not a 'Holocaust'.

Though, I disagree with the war in Iraq, I have to say that if the terrorists would put down their weapons, there would be no more deaths.

And there are better ways of giving health care to poor children.

BTW, 'redneck answers'? Are you kidding?
