I've got an agent and I'm going to audition for a movie role. I feel anxious and I don't know what to expect. What's an audition room look like ? How many people are there in the room ? How many people are waiting with me in a big movie audition ? What I have to do when my turn comes ? Do I usually have to do an emotional scene in a big movie audition ? Thankxx!!!

Audition rooms differ greatly, there really is no standard. As for who will be there, that can vary as well. Generally there will be someone managing the audition, checking people in and telling them when it is their turn. When you actually get into the room, it could any where from one person with a camera to a group of people. Ask your agent if they can find out who you will be auditioning for. They should be able to provide you with some amount of information.

You sure you have an agent? What kind of agent sends someone out to audition for a movie who doesn't know what to do? Anyway, in ten years of being a film actor I only did one audition and that was for a commercial in which all the applicants had to film some copy any ad lib a little. For movie roles, we had "interviews" which meant we went to a designated place, anything from a hotel room to a conference room where we checked in and were given a script for the scene to work on while we waited to be called, when we were called, we went in met the casting director and his or her assistant(s), never more that 3 people in there and simply talked a bit and then read the scene usually just seated across from the casting director or whoever was reading the cues. You probably won't have an emotional scene, you probably will be reading for a small role with very few lines, like a clerk or something that is barely one step up from extra work. the fact that it is a big movie, doesn't make the role you are trying for a big role, and probably every actor in town who might be right for the role will be there as your competition. If it is different from what I described, let me know as I am interested in the various procedures used today for casting films.

Is very hard to fight off your nerves, but just imagine yourself as doing something you really like. Typically, inside the audition area you will find 3-5 people that will be "judging" your performance. They might ask you to do something in particular or they will ask you to act something out that you should've prepared ahead of time (ask your agent!).
Best of luck!
