I can't stand having ice in my drinks, it makes them too cold to drink comfortably, and if you let it sit too long it will melt and dilute your drink, which I find disgusting ...
but as far as I know, I'm pretty alone in my reasoning. ;O)
anyone else like that out there?

you are definitely not alone there. I hate ice too. For the reasons you listed plus my teeth are sensitive.

I order mine without ice for same reasons you mention--and they usually put way too much ice in and very little drink, so I like getting "all" drink. Besides, I don't like extreme temps. of hot food and cold drink. It makes my teeth hurt.

I completely agree with you. I've never liked ice in my drinks. What bugs me most though is my mom, like if I leave a drink out, she puts it in the freezer and gets it frozen solid so I can't drink it at all for at least an hour or so.

No, you are NOT alone! I'll chomp on ice all day long, but don't you dare put it in my drink! Plus it makes my throat hurt if it's in my drink. That was one thing I found quite pleasant about my visits to England...it was like the whole country did not serve ice with their drinks which I found WONderful! My companions didn't lke it, but i just smiled to myself drinking my undiluted drinks. You are definitely not alone in this.

I always order "lite ice" in my drinks because too much ice makes the drink too cold and it hurts my teeth. So, you are not alone.

I like ice in drinks, after a few laps on the track it helps to cool me down.

I totally agree with your reasoning! But sometimes you have to make it cold, so I like it with just 2 or 3 cubes when others put 5 or 6.

I would prefer without ice, but I'm too bothered to tell the waiter/waitress to make my drink no-ice.

I usually take my drinks "off the rocks", because a drink that is too cold (specifically from ice), gives me hiccups (not sure why???)
