What is the possibility that the McCann's have sold the little girl, black market to another couple?
It makes a lot of sense when you think about it.
Kate running in and screaming, 'They've taken her!' Their insistence and confidence that Madeleine is still alive. Her seeming sudden disappearance without affecting the twins.
Have they checked into the McCann's financial history to see if there may be a gambling problem or an outstanding debt?
I have to wonder if this is the only stone left unturned.

Yeah this is a good idea but have you noticed as well...
Before they were saying that they wouldn't leave Portugal until they have "found" their little girl
Now they wont go back
Why arent the police thinking hard about this... If I am getting suspicious surely they must be
Plus the police let Kate take the teddy home and wash it, after the "attacker" had moved it to a high shelf
Why would she want to wash it I ask?
Wouldnt the last thing her daughter touched be precious... Never to be washed?
I think the police need to start looking more carefully into this

I can't see this being a possibility myself.
There is a whole load of uncertainty surrounding the case; but the idea of the McCann's selling Madeline to the black market - to me it just seems ridiculous.
I think there are too many flaws in the Portuguese police' case, and I personally feel they didn't do things right from the beginning and are now trying to tie it all together when it's too late.
The high publicity of this case and the effort the McCann's are putting into this makes me doubt very much that they had any involvement in their childs disappearance.
Granted they are not 100% guilt free (in my opinion) as they neglected their children by leaving them unattended, no matter how close the distance was, however no one deserves the pain they've suffered and no matter what happened that night, their is still an innocent little girl missing.

Not the only stone. They tried to unturn Mick Jagger, but they didn't find anything. Who are the McCann's? Perhaps there will be a happy ending and they will soon be paddlin' Medeline home. One can only hope. None of my debts are outstanding. They are all pretty mediocre.

I personally think that the little girl is dead.She probably died in the holiday apartment,before the ,so called ,parents bogged off to wine and dine with their doctor friends,who by all accounts ,had also deserted their children.What a lovely,responsible gang.Everything that has happened since has been a cover up.And there is only one stone left unturned,the one the corpse is under,when that is turned then.and only then ,will everyone know the whole story

I have to say that of all the presumptions, assumptions and theories surrounding her disappearance this is the most unlikely. I think that there are only two possible scenarios. She was in fact abducted or she was killed and her parents may have had something to do with it. Unfortunately unless she is found (dead or alive) the investigation is going nowhere. There appears to be no definitive evidence and all we have is speculation fuelled mainly by the media.

I'm pretty sure Madeleine was NOT sold by her parents. If she had been, then whoever bought her must be pretty pi$$ed off with her parents for all the publicity they've raised. It would be too dangerous for them to keep Madeleine and if they had any love for kids they would probably just have abandoned her where she could be found.

Personally, I'm more interested in finding out the next time McCain's french fries/tater tots go on sale in the frozen food section at the local supermarket.
Sorry about the lame answer, but these kind of new stories get old on me really quickly, and I know I'm not alone.

Unfortunately make sense, so the Police find her and they have the money from the "customers" and get the child back plus the money from the 50365 funds...
Have a star.
But I think she's dead the PJ can be right as they are most of the times.

Oh!! So you were there when Kate came running in screaming, were you. I have heard so many different versions of the on here it beggars belief.
What I do think is............... all the plonkers who have come up with all these theories should get together and form a club. Maybe you might even come up with a plausible book some day.
It's pathetic. Just when you think you have a day of peace from this garbage. Up pops another one.

Not a chance...whatever about their being an accident and she was accidently killed...there is no way in hell that they paid a load of money for IVF and then sold her for probably less than they paid for the treatment!!
Definitaly not a possibility...in my eyes anyway
