i herd that if a glass material gets scratched you can put alcohol on in and it will go away right??? so will it work on my watch

No alcohol wont really help. It'll just give you a bad hang over and wont really help the watch any either.
Try some toothpaste instead. It will leave your breath fresh and also as a mild abrasive to buff out the scratch.

i don't think so....depends if it's plastic or glass cover. If it's an expensive watch you might want to see a jeweler to polish the glass. Don't think just alcohol will do anything but clean it.
