Im now 24, I have had Osteoarthritis in my big toe ( left foot) for five years. In recent months it has progressed to my little toes and now even to my other foot. The pain has become that unbearable i had to leave my job and search for a sit down job. Why has it gotten worse so quickly? . ( one and a half month at a job standing in the one spot, 9 hours a day )

It's really sad.
There is no medicine for R/A. Not only RA but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food , constipation, intestinal inflammation; Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 90% success in treating RA confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment, PL TRY FIRST.
I treat it with our SHREE SWASTHYAYOG THERAPY, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to medicines. SO PL AVOID MEDS. They will generate side effects and curtail your life.
All hot foods will help.
Avoid all sour and cold foods, bakery foods.
Best Luck.

My doctor said partly one of the reason people get arthritis is because they didn't ,in their past, drink enough water, he told me that is partly some of the reasons why people get many diseases, and for eating unhealthy. However, he didn't say that those were the only reasons.

The staying in the same position at the job could have had something to do with it (causing stiffness to occur).

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
