i noticed that whenever i flat iron my hair, it usually looks pretty nice up until the bottom layer's end of my hair. it's just...hard to explain it's messed up...my hairs somewhat short about an inch or two below my shoulder and layers. Will it become less obvious when my hair gets longer or should i ask for another cut?

Perhaps you're unintentionally flipping the ends without realizing it. Be sure to bring the flatiron ALL THE WAY to the end of the very last strand, at the *same* angle as you held it coming down from the top. Also, your ends might be a bit split. A tiny trim of 1/4 inch may do a world of good. Also you could try a product called John Freida's Frizz Ease Smoothing Creme on the ends of your dry hair before straightening. I ironed my hair when it was just below chin length, with excellent results. Keep trying and good luck.

yeah, this is probably due to split ends ...get your hair trimmed slightly about a cm to 1/2 inch.... this problem would go off...
