My body gets very hot when I'm asleep to where I have to get up several times for water or to crank the A/C........Why is this?

That is a symptom of high blood pressure and several other medical problems. Unless you are female going through menopause, I would see a doctor.

Either something you are eating late at night that is high in sugar, or a good chance your blood pressure is high. Get test for blood pressure and for glucose tolerance.

You must consult your doctor. Tell him about your condition and i think he would advise some Chest and Heart, Blood and some other tests. I am not suggesting any thing but just informing you about danger of some heart problem.

do you have any hot drinks before you go to bed? do you have a quilt? maybe change to a sheet and blanket.
