Let's see.
God created itself.
A higher god created god, and on, and on...
God always was and always will be. It must get bored.
God is outside the universe. It started the big bang. It will let the universe die out in darkness (all life too).

What I consider to be the truth.
Man created all their gods.
Man created religion to control men.
Is there something outside this universe? Only science will ever have a chance to find out. Religion will only keep us in ignorance.

The frailty of human thought lends itself to creating ludicrous entities as something to bow down to. There can be no differentiation between God and Man and All Things. All things are components of the whole, with their own individual role to play.
In the bible, the world was called the Earth, and dry land was called Heaven and the firmament, and separated the waters above from the waters below. Though people now think of heaven and god as being 'up there' somewhere.
There may be a higher conscious that can be accessed by others seeking advice, but no separate god entity could exist. The flesh separates us from the rest of the universe and sensations give us the idea that we live behind our eyes, but these are just illusionary and vain agrandisement. We make the mistake of convenience whereby states of matter are seen as creating a distance between objects. To me I believe the Earth dreams all of us.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

The answer to this question is simple. First, you have to prove that there is a God and then prove that God created everything. This is too great a task for a human being, don't you think? Since humans cannot even answer these two pre-existing questions, it would not even make sense to me to even worry about answering the question of who created God.

You will just get a circular answer that God has always existed or he created himself. Its not an answer. The only sensible answer based on logic, reason, historical and scientific evidence and fact is that God is a fictional character created by humans as a way to explain that which people at the time did not understand. Weather God exists or not, that is the only reasonable answer. :)

Perhaps we are the Gods........maybe our belief in God allowed him/her 2 b carnated. Or r we all semi gods, fragments of the same universall God......is it like a swarm of bees who on closer inspection are seperate little entities but as a whole unit we appear 2 b one giant mass capable of bigger/greater feats. We r always told we were created in Gods image, doesnt that mean God is our exact reflection? Is that code 4 us being in control of our destiny when we operate as whole, when mankind unites and moves 2gether does that not make usThe God? This could really mess with ur head maybe thats why our ancestors took the easy way out and created religion, perhaps it is time 2 really question how the human race operates and why? AAAAGGHHHHH......my head hurts, thanks 4 the question but I think I'll have another piece of pizza and watch some brain numbing TV.

Having grown up in the Mormon church, they had a belief that was more plausible, than any other I have ever heard! No one knows for sure how many universes there are for sure! One, or millions!
With that in mind, we were taught that god came here, from one of the millions of universes, with all of us, and then he created this world for us to live on! That seems as good a story as any to me, as it beats the idea of a deity coming from nothing, and then hanging around the cosmos, doing his own thing, for however long! And as for where the race of beings that he came from? Your guess is as good as mine!
but, this one theory, always worked for me!
edit
If god is energy, like the gal above me said, then it is just as likely that the big bang theory, can work that way too! Nothing comes from nothing, god or the energy, to create anything, sort of like the big bang, or god, if you see what I mean! It almost becomes a parodox!

To be the true God he must neither have a beginning nor ending. If something had made God, God would be an idol.

Some people say God is energy. Energy does not have a beginning or an end. Everything that exists in the universe is made up of energy. For an in-depth presentation on this theory please go to this link.

Nonetheless, I still believe in the Biblical concept of God - a loving and merciful Father who loves his children.

some human beings have faith that God has continually existed, he's non-end. He wasn't created and can't be destroyed ever. although there is likewise data now that some debris can purely 'pop' into life. this could have been the reason for the stress you call God. there are various theories, the hassle we've is they do no longer in high-quality condition with the technology this is at present understood by us. it fairly is an impossible question even with the undeniable fact that with the understanding that we've on the 2d this is relatively limited.

But who created your gods? The same argument applies.

And who created the creator? and where did THAT creator come from? You can go on ad infinitum, and it applies to hinduism even more than monotheistic religions, as there's more gods to have been created in the first place.
