What do people think about this:
What age is too young for sex? I am 16, and my boyfriend is 18. We have been been going out for 4 months, and we both love each other, and have never felt this way about any other previous relationships and are both into long term commitment.

I was 16.
If you are close to your mum or older sibling, maybe talk to them.
As a mum my gut feeling is to scream NOOOOOOO, but I remember that feeling only too well that you are going through.
If you both feel ready then it can only be your decision, this is the biggest of your life as there is no going back after...
If you do go for it, PLEASE protect yourself against diseases and pregnancy.
EDIT: In the UK the age of consent is 16, you don't state where you are. Of course I would never encourage under age sex!

Depending on the age of consent in your state, your boyfriend could be breaking the law if you have sex. If that is the case, wait until you are 18. If you do have sex make sure you have proper protection. Sex isn't all that great when you are young anyway!

In my opinion, there is absolutely no set age limit (sure 13 is definitely too young, but anything past 15-16 MIGHT be okay) HOWEVER... if you have to ask, you're not ready! You probably have a small idea about how complicated it can get, and you're smart enough to consider it. It shouldn't be something you plan, that'll just ruin. When you're mature enough that you can control your life without planning every detail... you're ready. And it's okay to ask, but remember, it probably means you are insecure about whether you're ready.

There is no perfect age. I would say as long as you are not feeling pressured to do so and you want to remember THIS PARTICULAR MAN as your first time partner, go for it.
REMEMBER TO BE SAFE!!!
I waited until I was a couple months shy of 18 and fell for the 'if you love me you will' b/c he was joining the Navy. It wasn't all that good, even though we'd been together for years.

Personally, I'd say wait until your 18. What most people say are actually right. You really only know what you're getting into when it comes to sex when a.)your mind has matured COMPLETELY. and/or b.)If you haven't been a virgin for a LONG TIME, aka a consensual rape victim.

18 and older..... is best... there is a maturity level that girls seem to come too just after that age... anything before is usually a mistake.
