Are you suggesting more gun restrictions? If so, NO I don't agree. Had some of the folks in that bank been armed, or if by-standers had been armed.

There's no way I'm going to support a city, state or federal government disarming the public.

Of course things will be done the question is how will the public know if anything is done.
For one the police department does not want the death rate to go up for any reason let alone a violent crime like a bank robbery. It looks bad on everyone including the superiors if crime gets out of hand. The bank as well does not want to loss potential or existing customers so they will have to re think security in the bank. Weather that involves local authorities or private security that will be up for discussion.

The banks in my neighborhood used to get robbed all the time. Since then they have installed security doors, and hired some old geezer security guards. I don't think the city can really do much but catch the bank robbers. It is up to the bank itself to make security measures.

The city more than likely will attempt to pass the buck onto the banks and visa versa. I hate to be so pessimistic, but I just see more and more rhetoric with band-aids being thrown around but nothing of any substance being done.

Nope. What they WILL do is continue to blame guns (an inanimate object) for the crime problem instead of placing the blame with the criminal and punishing them. It's the liberal mindset. Expect to see another push for more stringent gun control from the Philly legislators and Dems in the state House and Senate.

Probably not,the city views internal security concerns the
responsibility of the individual company.Have they even done anything for the vultures who run those check cashing places?
What about the soaring murder rate of the city itself?
