Its 2 am and her owner is still at work. She is shaking like a leave had hick ups. I went outside with her and she pooped. I hope I spell pooed right.
Nevertheless, is it just anxiety attack for her owner not to be home? Or should I be worried about her?

You should hold her up, and hug her, with the lower voice and say good girl.
And the owner work until so late, i think the poor baby miss it mama.
And let the poor baby have a few blanket on her bed, as they always feel cold in the night,as the blanket will let her put her nose inside,to prevent to cold night.
If she have cloth, pls wear for her..
Hope this is helpful..
Take care ..

it is normal for chis to shake...i have a chi and whenever she gets excited, nervous, anxious...anything...she will shake. Just try rubbing her and reassure her in a calm voice. Chis normally like companionship and get a little upset when their owners leave them.

Small dogs always shake, and are always nervous. I'm not sure why, but this is usually the case. Wrap it in a towel so it is warm. It will be fine.

Chihuahua mama is right. I don't know why people who don't know the breed gave her a thumb's down. Chis have problems with their blood sugar. Try to get her to eat something. If she won't eat, then get some sugar or syrup into her.

All chihuahuas shake a lot. But if this is more than normal shaking, it is almost assuredly hypoglycemia.

She need companionship and time for some attention. She still will need her own. I got so sick when I gave Daija away. I regret it so much.

Her sugar could be a little low. If there is any Karo syrup in the house, put some on her gums. Or any kind of syrup. In case there is not any, maybe some honey.
