I'm 5'2" & weigh about 280 lbs. I'm addicted to food, & it's hurting my life & my health. & people treat me very nasty & hateful because of my weight. People are so hateful they don't even wanna sit next to me on the bus. Many guys aren't attracted to me because of my weight. If I put a pece of celery to my mouth or drink water people call me greedy. I feel like I don't have the right to eat. & I'm tired of being obese. I wanna be slim & sexy. I'm highly addicted to food, & it's driving me crazy. I'm sick & tired of food & don't wanna eat anymore until I reach my desired weight. I know not eating is unhealthy as well. I've been battling weight for about 7 yrs. I was 23 & weighing 130 & being the same height I am now & being called fat & greedy. Now I'm REALLY fat & feel more depressed. With my former foster family, they damaged my self-esteem by so much mental abuse. I'm 24 now. People get mad @ me for not eating, but then they get mad when I do eat, even eating healthy.

People can be cruel. You sound like you are intelligent enough to know that being overweught will impact on your life and health. You must realize that is necessary to eat in order to survive.People are like cars,we need to refuel so we can go through our daily lives. My first suggestion is for you to try an accept that this weight will not come off quickly.Fad diets and quick fixes seldom work in the long term. Slow and steady weight loss, changes in your diet and exercise will be more successful. My second suggestion is to visit your family doctor and he /she can give you some suggestions on how to lose weight in a healthy manner. You must believe you are worth the effort.Try to ignore the ignorant comments around you.You would be mistaken to think that these bullies are secure. If they were confident they wouldn't try to make fun of others. We all have our insecurities and these fools are playing on yours..Try to find something you like to do, join social groups that may offer support, make an effort to participate in activities or volunteer your time .All these things will boost your self confidence when you realize you are important, you have worth and deserve to be liked and loved.I don't want to decieve you, it will not be easy or quick but you are taking the first step towards a new life by reaching out with your question. Take care.

It is very unhealthy not to eat. If you want to lose this weight naturally go to a gym or look up a dietitian in the phone book and start on a diet and exercise plan. Don't be embaressed to go to the gym your not there to care what people think and at most gyms people will be proud of you just for trying. These trainers and dietitians have payment plans if your short on money. If you can't afford it at all.
Eat 6 small portioned meals containing very low fats , high protein , and low carbs. This keeps your digestive system constantly working which speeds up your metabalism. You should eat every 3 hours. HEALTHY meals or snacks , or this will not work. Try to jog , ride a bike at the gym or any type of cardio for 30 minutes a day.Drink plenty of water at least 10 bottles a day.Water also helps to fill the stomach and to surpress hunger. I hope this is helpful. It is a very long and hard road to losing weight so stay motivated and don't give up.Good Luck and God Bless You

Yikes, just wondering how you gained 150 pounds in a single year?! anyways, I know I'm making it easier than it sounds but all you have to do is reduce your caloric intake to 1600 calories a day, so figure out how many calories you are eating in a single day and gradually reduce it to 1600. So eat seperate meals throughout the day and make sure they are full of protein, vitamins and minerals, all natural, stick to home cooked meals, no unnecessary junk. And of course working out for 30-45 minutes at least 3-5 days a week will really help. If you starve yourself, your body will breakdown, and in order to keep going it will eat your muscles and start preserving fat for as long as it can, point is that you should just eat the appropriate amounts of foods. Feel free to email, don't even worry about anything, and stop putting yourself down.

not eating at all will leave you malnurished regardless of your weight, I myself weigh in excess of 300lb and have tried a few diets in my lifetime some sucesfuly some not but eventualy i always relapse then its worse than b4 as I dont care. The best advice I can give is try not to mix protein with carbs use everything fat free or very low fat, one example i can give is a british classic - bangers and mash, I can have a huge plate of mashed potato but with very little butter and i'll have vegi sausage with it - if you saw the size of my plate of food you would never think this could help me loose weight but it did, 1st time i dieted this way i lost 6st in 6 months - i was going to slimming world every week and it was only when i thought there was no need to go anymore as i know how to di it that i relapsed, 12 months later i was back where i started , it is depressing and I guess you feel like youre in a circular room trying to find a corner - good luck in how ever you sort yaself out , im sure you will.

Well not eating won't solve anything, point in fact it will make things worse. So here's what you do, if you're going to snack on something go for something light not too crazy with saturated fats and sugars, and whatever you eat try smaller portions, it will take some training but you can do it. Next try getting in some regular exercise a small brisk walk in the morning everyday, progressively venture out further each time, take water with you as you will get burnt out. If you can afford to visit a nutritionist do that if not consult your doctor and ask for some more tips..you can do this, it just takes some ganas (willpower in Spanish)

Hon, you need to get into a healthy eating pattern, and get more exercise. Small portions, and I do mean tiny... you need to find a portion control chart and stick with it. Savor your food, but eat only the tiny healthy portions and take tiny little bites and chew, chew, chew them thoroughly until they are like liquid before swallowing. Enjoooy the smell and the texture and chew like crazy.... but only eat those tiny portions.

Then, walk, walk, walk... miles and miles each day. Go to a safe place, if you can walk around the block in your neighborhood, do that, or go to a park, or a shopping mall. And walk, and walk and walk.

Then, when you get home, put on some lively music and dance, dance and dance some more. Have fun! and instead of treating yourself with food, treat yourself with a magazine to read, or a journal to write in, or a manicure or pedicure. Find something else to do beside eating to fill your time. visit with people, play with a pet, go for another walk around the neighborhood. (and soon you will see good results!)

Eat more fruits and vegetables too - they have very satisfying chewability - and fewer calories than packaged processed foods. Give up soda and drink water and iced tea. Tea is also a diuretic, which will help you eliminate toxins and excess fluid your tissues hold.

Good luck!

First off, EAT. I was depressed and didn't eat for 30 days when I was younger and when I tried to start again it make me very very sick. I had to goto the hospital. It was awful.

The best way I have found to lose weight is to not eat saturated fat. It's a pain to figure out, but when I went on a 5g or less saturated fat diet, I lost 20 pounds in the first month. I ate gummy bears, pasta, lots of veggies and fruits. I had to have gummy bears because they didn't have fat, but still gave me the sugar I craved. Obviously I ate other things as well, but I am trying to say there are lots of things you can eat and still gain weight. I didn't worry about calories and never exercised. (I'm lazy that way.) I ended up losing about 35 pounds in two months and was happy with the way I was looking. I am not on that diet anymore and have gained about 10 pounds back, but I am still 25 pounds lighter than I was and my metabolism is going strong again. Now I eat anything. I hope this helps. Please, please make sure you eat.

Weight problems are difficult to deal with. I'm sorry people are being mean to you.
Get some mental health help. You sound like you're turning to food for emotional support.
If you don't eat anything, your body will develop all kinds of problems. Your heart will get messed up, your blood sugar will plummet, causing dizziness, nausea, fainting, and so on. You can find a solution to your overeating, because you are asking for help here!!
I am overweight, too. I got sick with asthma, and I wasn't overweight at the time. I got put on steroids and gained LOTS of weight, and have been overweight ever since. It sucks.
Try not to worry about other people and focus on doing what you need to do to get healthy.
Best wishes.

So your saying you put on 150 pounds in 1 year. You need to see a Dr.Have him check your thyroid levels.See if he can recomend what to do in your case, ask what your options are in your area.If you dont eat you will do more harm to your body.I want you to eat more fruits and veggies and just forget about anything with sugar in it.If you want something like that then make it your goal for the end of the week or month as a treat for doing good, but only a very small portion. If you want it bad enough and you want to live a while longer then you can do it.

i can relate believe me. I am five feet six inches and I weigh 260. I feel the same way you do but I dont like food and I am fat because too much starch in my diet, I have had 3 babies, hereditary, slow metabolizm, and lack of exercise. You are a person that is important and has meaning, don't let people tell you that you don't, and don't base your self worth on how others view you okay? take it from me, you need to eat.
