Exactly what is it that you want to teach your dog? I can help you with such things as sit, stay, down, come, leave it ( you don't want the dog to touch something or maybe to leave another animal alone) and load up ( jump up in a vehicle).
Please let me know what it is that you want to teach your dog and I will do my best to help you.

Firstly you teach your dog to listen to YOU. attention is the key to train any animal. use food to lure for rewards. Say for example you want your dog to look at you. Call its name, when it looks at you, reward with food and praise it, like "good girl".You can teach dogs this way, your tone in your voice as a big impact on your dogs reaction. Dont over do it, be firm and consistant with your commands and after a while you will not need food as a reward, just pats and cuddles will be enough for your dog.Eventually if you get real good at it, you will not need your voice, try to incorporate hand signals with your voice for when your dog looks at you he is also seeing hand signals from you too right ?example for sit is upward movement of hand towards your chin, drop signal is straight arm down, stay is open palm in front of dogs nose.
there is alot you can do to train your dog but your dog needs to know your the leader and teacher in the family. good luck
