each day? if i eat around 1200 calories and want to lose weight
i go to the gym nearly every day but i dont know how much work i should try and do

you shouldnt try to count calories burned because there is no way you could know that precisely. all you need to count is time doing cardio which for weight loss has to be 4-6 times a week average of 45min. and do light weight training a few times a week.

Hello.

An hour a day is the reccommended amount of exercise.

I shamefully only do thirty minutes every day on the treadmill.

In my thirty minutes I burn off an average of 110 calories and walk 3km in distance.

So, if you do the recommended 1 hour everyday you should aim to burn approximately 220 calories (based on how much I burn off within 30 minutes).

my advice is do cardio 3 days a week for 2hours then aerobic 3 days 2 hours alternating days. rest at least one day a week to prevent burnout. eat slightly smaller portions of what you eat now.
